Algea out of control

I have about 100 lbs of rock and its all covered with algea. Same with my glass. I clean it and the next day its back and sometimes even worse. Wasnt planning on getting any new fish but what else could i get whether its filtration or chemicals or literally anything thats not overly expensive.
