It could be green cyano. Does it bow off easy? Cyano does not like a lot of flow.

I use the siphon many times but little effect. Couple of days later it is all back. The water flow is medium and to the middle of the tank

To get better help you should post more information: Size of system, how long it has been running, chemical parameters (eg, nitrate, phosphate, alk, etc), livestock, feeding schedule, what you dose if anything, full picture of tank.

I have a Red Sea Nano Max Penislua (100 liter). I have the Tank for aprox 1 year. I have 2 clowfish and multiple Zoanthus and 2 anemons. All are fine. The parameters are:

Salinity: 1.025
Nitrate: 5.4
Nitrite: 0.012
Phosphate: 0.1
KH: 8.67
Calcium: 440
Magnesium: 1530

I dose every other day: KH aprox 10ml and depending on the parameters Red Sea Algea Management No3/PO4 1 Ml. Abotut 2 times a week
