I'm thinking of getting a new algea Scrubber for my SCA 120 upgrade and am wondering what brand and model everyone recommends an why! Thanks for the help!

There does seem to be a lot of them on the market nowadays. I have a Turbo Aquatics L2, but it is still dry - like my tank. Can't really speak to its effectiveness yet. But bump for some other users that have had a scrubber online for a while and can give you an opinion. Good luck shopping! :-)

Most say Turbo Aquatic, a lot like clear water, I got a 302 aquatic but ended up customizing the lights and spray bar so I would say 1 of the 1st 2 I mentioned.

Turbo’s Aquatics is hands down the very best you can get. 100% USA designed and made. Custom dimmable LEDs allow you to tune your lights through the GHA growth stages and screen maturation process. Light blocker along the slot pipe allows for uniform flow to the screen by not allowing for algae growth to clog the screen/slotpipe junction. The contained removabe growth chamber allows for ease of harvesting, cleaning and maintenance. Main drain has a custom valve system to tune the outlet flow for noise and bubble reduction into your sump.
