Algea takeover

Does anyone know what kind of algae this is? It's kind of like human hair it's really tough. This come in on a frag about a year-and-a-half ago it has been Unstoppable and it's pretty much taken over 75% of The Rock. It started out very remote and had stayed there until one day I decided to start picking at it and then it spread like wildfire. I'm just about ready shut it down and start over

Could be turf, I am battling that now, starting to get the upper hand on it, is it really attached/hard to pick off the rocks?

Sometimes responds to fluconazole, but it takes much longer than bryopsis to respond.

Yeah could be it there's so many different subspecies. It's been very frustrating watching this stuff take over my whole tank it took about a year and a half

Where can I get fluconazole and what would be the proper way to use it?

In the link below you will find all usage information. The usual dose is 20 mg / gallon, but for Cladophora sp. I would work at a higher concentration of 9 mg / liter or 33.3 mg / gallon in a single dose.

I have the exact same algae and two treatments of fluconazole did not work... Bits would come off but it seemed it would grow faster than the fluconazole could kill it. Still battling and just pulling out as much by hand as possibe

I was able to take my rock out, I sprayed it lightly with peroxide. It work very well the only downside so far is it kill the koralin also. I even got some on a few of my coral I didn't see any adverse reactions.
