I was cleaning the glass on my tank with my Flipper Scraper this evening and noticed tons of small white eggs that appear to be laid in strands on the backside of my scraper. Anyone have any IDea?

I'm about to throw my scraper in vinegar to be safe.

I also don't know about snail eggs. Those scrappers are very close to the glass and I don't know how a snail could get in there. May be some sort of flat worm or nudi. What type of CUC do you have? @Lionfish Lair might have a better idea.

Thanks for the replies back.

CUC consists of numerous hermits, numerous trochus, turbo, nassarius, some cerith, a single brittle star, a single sand sifting star. Also I should not that the Flipper scraper was flipped to the opposite side prior to me noticing the eggs, so it may have been possible that a snail was on there.

Nudi eggs! Best way to get rid of them with out spreading them is to take a dry paper towl and wipe it clean. The texture of the towel will remove the sticky substance holding them in place
