AliExpress A8SE Reef Light

To muddy things up a bit more, I've been looking hard at these SeaTorch lights on AliE. They make 4 different lights:

1. LM-12 Pro - $170 - Appears to be a pretty direct clone of a Prime HD (50w, 13 LEDs) and comes with the mount

2. LM-15 Pro - $190 - Radion XR15 clone (90w, 24 LEDs) mount is extra

3. LM-25 Pro - $250 - Radion-ish clone that falls directly between the XR15 and XR30 (150w, 38 LEDs) mount is extra

4. LM-30 Pro - $343 - Radion XR30 clone (220w, 56 LEDs) mount is extra

Even their mounts are nice, Ecotech RMS-ish looking. They're $45, though.

Hadn’t seen those… @telegraham have you seen these? I’m thinking they’d likely fall in the same realm as the A7’s and A8’s.

Checked them out, thank you, but I tend to look away when they look like Gen 5/6 clones. I'm not a fan of that style light. Not the clone part...the glare thing. Looking forward to someone buying it and proving me wrong.

Better shimmer from the kessil (if your into that). They get the job done. Have one on my 50g cube currently. Upside, you can use the kessil a360x reflectors if needed to create the 'laser beam' effect.

Yeah I've looked on a few occasions but keeping finding the same half or dozen tanks. If I could buy a waterbox penninsula 4820 directly from the manufacturer through alibaba for half the price I'd probably order it tomorrow. Just not sure how to figure out which vendor that might be.

My old it2060 have less color etc... anyway.
Can't compare radion i never have one...
They are strong !

Do you think it is worth to buy a8se 4 pcs instead my hydra 2 pcs 64 and 2 pcs hydra 32? I have hydra melted lenses and also I need more PAR so these A8se would be double W than hydras? I will take them for 185 usd straight from alibaba, price good for me.

I bought the a8se recently, anyone knows how to upload user's settings from the library in the app. App is in English, but only partially and I can't figure out how to use a someone's settings.

VT will not effectively analyze an APK for malware. Take a look at mobsf if you want to look for issues, lots of vulnerable or spooky functionality for aquatics mobile apps.
