Been seeing a lot of posts mentioning these. Like everyone else, would love to save a few bucks. Which one on the site are people looking at, and is there one that most closely mimics a T5 blue plus? TIA

You can also have custom bars made with your specific LED drivers if you wish.

How are you liking yours? Also, how do you have them customized and how do I know what would be closest to blue plus T5. Guess I could compare to the Orphek that is suppose to mimic blue plus.

I went for quanta pro, its more expensive than the aliexpress bars, but so far I am very impressed. It is still cheaper than xho or orpheks.

I didn't customize anything. Ordered them, in 48" length they arrived in less than a week. They are hanging from my diy t5 hybrid.

My main lights were kinda thin in the 470nm spectrum, so I just got the 470nm bars to fatten up that part of the spectrum. I did not customize my lights either, since 470nm is all I needed. Added mine to fatten up the spectrum a bit and also to provide more coverage with less shadowing. Super happy with them for the cost. I have mine on a smart plug, set to a timer. My LED bars come on only after my main lights ramp up to full intensity. The LED bars then turn off before my main lights start ramping back down for the evening.

So my T5 fixture died recently. I was already running a Reefbrite XHO Blue with it. I had an opportunity to pick up 2 of the XHO 50/50s for cheap. So I did that and bought the mounting bracket to just connect the 3 XHOs together, but now I think it’s too white. Was looking at Orphek, but then came across people talking about these.

Not a number to call, remember its china hut. You have to email them or hit the chat button. Contact popular grow for options. Remember you start customizing, it ain't US shipping and the price goes up. Just be aware.

This. I was too needy to wait. Id prolly mix 420nm and 470 if I did it again, but Im happy with it. Or go all strips if I get frustrated with my ghetto t5 setup.

I think I tried that contact button….did nothing. I’m comparing to the Orphek that is suppose to be like a T5. On the powergrow, would end up being 3 410s, 3 420s, 7 430s, 8 460s, 4 470s, and 2 480s. I wonder if they are that customizable.

If orphek makes that combo buy their setup. That custom of a setup you may get close to orphek pricing without the hassle.

Again your forgetting the company is 12-15 hours ahead as I said above they arent american based. Be patient. Send them a message through the chat, they will reply, it just may take a day to get a response.

Then its an issue with your computer/device/browser because it works just fine on my end... Try a different device or browser.

it opens a chat window... any chance you have a popup blocker or something blocking it from opening?
