Hello everybody! I have decided to post the progress on my new nano-build. I just moved to downtown Chicago and set up the new tank on the 19th. I am not sure what kind of fish yet, maybe a snowflake pair... maybe a captive bred Fridimani? Not sure :confuse: Coral focus will be Z&P's. Using the K.I.S.S. method for this tank since I am good about husbandry. No skimmer is kinda freaking me out, but we'll see how it goes!
Tank: ADA 30-C rimless cube (12X12X12) 7.5 gallons
Lights: Orphek PR-25UV PAR 38 LED bulb
Water flow: Vortech MP 10ES (however it's headed for repairs; temporarily replaced with a Maxi-Jet 1200)
Heater: Ebo-jager 50w (Also being replaced, with a Fluval Edge 25w)
Substrate: Aragonite
Temp 79 degrees

5 lbs of cured live rock have been in the tank since day 1

Hello, it looks like you are off to a great start. A pair of clowns would look great in that setup. Some acans and perhaps a Scoly would really liven things up in the tank.

Good luck,

Sonny

Changed the heater out to a Fluval Edge. It's keeping the heater at 77 degrees. Added a small CUC (2 ceriths, 2 small hermits, and 1 astrea snail) I helped a friend re-do his aquascape today, and ended up taking home a very small frag of GSP. I don't want this to grow out much in the tank, but wanted to get something in there... until next week.
