Alk and Calcium drop

You should stop using Bio S. After 14 days of starting cycle you should shift to Pro bio s and NP pro. If not full dose still half dose.

Once I balanced out my alk, Ca and Mg fell into place. As @Anirban suggested even though you do not have a demand your system is still balancing out.
Sounds good. Gonna hook up my doser and start. It took a while to balance out my 58 gallon tank but it's really steady now.

I did stop the Bio S at 14 days but thought I only needed to dose Pro bio S and NP pro for rising Nitrate. I have all of it on hand so I can start.

Start it from tomorrow and continue doing it. Till then balance it out by manual dosing.

Ok just mixed a fresh batch. Salinity 1.025 Alk 7.1 Ca 350 Mg 1320
Oh wow, but you were saying you didnt do a water change since the beginning right? If thats the case, it couldnt be the saltmix although it tested that low. Just continue making corrections untill your tank settles down. Id look into dosing some calc chloride to a freshly made batch of the AF salt, or call customer service to get renewed.

I am thinking the same. If earlier the same batch gave you 8 dkh and 420ppm Ca then how it is now giving it so low readings. I will still suggest contact AF and start probio s and NP Pro.
