Alk/calcium question

Obviously new to this! 40 gallon IM up and running. Tested my alk at 7.1 today and my calcium is 452. I don’t have corals yet, but from what I am reading I would want my Alk to be at least 8? Is 2 part dosing Now what I need to do knowing that I want to add corals in the future?

Your levels are fine, but you can boost the alk if you want. A two part is a good choice.
