Hi all
I set up a Tmc easy dose pump for my alk
Was working fine for a few days than today I test my alk and I'm at 13.?
I keep it at 8.5 since I set the pump up .
Anyway this #### thing has been dripping red sea buffer supplement into my tank all day
Do I need to do a water change or should I let it come down on its own
My tank uses about 0.6 dKH aday ?
Also any thoughts on why the pump would keep dripping and not stop ?
Have I made some type of loop were the buffer supplement goes up the tube through the pump and down the other tube and into my tank and can't stop
I'm not very good at explaining things lol
Have a look at my pic and tell me what I'm doing wrong with the way iv set it up
Thanks

Looks like its causing a small syphon, But letting it come down slowly will be just fine, I know some people that run them at an higher ALK.

Thanks xviijdx
What's the best way for me to stop the mini syphon , should I try and have the pump and the container at the same level , this really has ...... Me off , my alk has jumped so much in one day I know I'm gonna have burns on some of my sps
