Making water right now. I’m about 3 hours from 55gallon emergency water change. 200 gallon system. Ph is at 8.72. Trident said Alk is at zero but hanna checker says 16.2 and a repeat test says 16.3. Stay calm? Anything else to do? Everything appears to be fine for now.

Is the water cloudy?
If the pH is still above 8.6, I'd add soda water or vinegar to drop it below 8.6.
