So last night as I was refilling my Alk resovior container and noticed air bubbles in the line. Nothing alarming just air bubbles so I started to purge the line. As I'm following the air pockets with a flash light I find pockets of sludge. What the...I can't remember the last time I even checked the line maybe 3yrs ago when I set it up.
My check up is if it's dripping out I'm good. Anyway I took pics and wanted share what I almost dosed into the tank. Not sure what this could have done to my Alk levels but heres the pics to show. Maybe it's time to check your lines too.

Semi dried up precipitation cause by high alk and high pH. If you are not running fluids through the line in pretty consistent manner it will happen.

Thanks. That's what I figured. 3yrs of slow drip 1.1ml doser at 4-5 min run time 7times in 24hr cycle will do it. So would the semi dried up prescription have any altering effects to the water column or is it pretty much inert?
