I don't think you understood this. It's testing with trident so there is no probe for alk. And i water changes few hours before my next reading so i can get the most accurate reading. Is it because your probe is in your sump.and the pump is off for a bit during water change and it takes a minute to come back up? Or does it stay there?
Idk tbh i don't think so water clear as hell and no build up of anything and this never gave me an issueHuge guess; Percipitation?
I broke down that tank and currently running a 125 now no real issues now lolMine is the opposite I do a 30% water change and my alk goes from 7.8 to 9.2 but it drops over a few days to a middle reading. I use io and it has a alk of 10 so it is to be expected. Corals don't seem to mind.
Maybe the trident sucked in air bubbles or the new salt water was low in alk.I don't think you understood this. It's testing with trident so there is no probe for alk. And i water changes few hours before my next reading so i can get the most accurate reading.
I didn't i already went thru that batch of salt. Never had that issue i think it was def that batch of salt.Have you tested the ALK of the water that you are using to do your water changes with? That would be my first step.
