Also check out your sand bed- if it is starting to turn hard you know where some of the alk is ending up.

Question to all. If you notice that you are precipitating alk/calc into your sand or onto your glass or rockwork, how do you stop it... assuming magnesium levels are correct and you are dosing at separate times and into areas of high flow.
