Alk drops when I open windows

Okay so when the weather changes and I’m able to keep my windows open more often, my PH increases substantially as expected.

My alk drops substantially every time.

I understand why my PH goes up but why does my alk drop and should I adjust my dosing to get it back up?

I know carbondioxide goes down with windows open and ph goes up how many corral do you have in how big of a tank and for how long b your tank setup for? Alk drops with corral consumption

300 gallons total water volume.

6 year old tank transferred to new setup almost a year ago.

I have a few large mature Acro colonies and a ton of Acro frags encrusting.

I know alk drops from consumption but this is like clockwork when I open the windows and my ph goes from 8.2 up to 8.4 - 8.5 and my alk goes from 8.0 - 8.1 down to 7.6 - 7.8. Happens every time. I have a Trident.
