I have a soft coral tank with a few clowns, damsels and a few others...

My calcium is 450, magnesium is 1320 but alk is 7.0

I was going to make up an alk bottle using this

Can I use the alkalinity on its own or must I use calcium as well, how accurate must the mixture be?

Whenever my Alk is low and I need to bring it up, I just mix a small amount of baking soda in RODI and add it to the sump. Just make sure you arent increasing it drastically in a short period of time.

You have nothing in your tank that demand alk and calc, so I wouldn't do anything but water changes.

And yes, that mix for an alk solution will work to raise alk. Just watch calc if you decide to dose because alk could drive down that calc number. But again, no need to dose anything.

My alk is too low... should be higher for both fish and corals

Soft corals and fish don't consume alk, so you're fine.
