I have 2 test kits of salifert and 2 different hanna regiments

Salifert tests were conducted at the very first sign of color change and resulted in both resulting in 8dkh.

Hanna tests were done perfectly and both regiments (7309/7253) resulted in 134/135ppm it 7.5dkh.

I understand that consistency is more important the actual number. I just don’t know which one to trust at this point.

What’s your experience?

I would just say that within the claimed specifications of the Hanna (+/- 0.3 dKH) and assuming the Salifert is similar, those values do not disagree.

Don't over-assume how accurate these kits are. :)

Thank you very much! I suppose I’ll pick one test kit and stick with that. I usually use the hanna when I’m feeling lazy haha
