Alk testing

I've been thinking of getting a checker and do away with my red sea test kit. I just want to know if the checkers are consistent precise and accurate.

They may not be better than good kits or a DIY, but the Hanna alk checker seems adequate for the job.

Thanks I'm not pulling the trigger on this yet. I want to see how the neptune trident works out for people and go from there. In the mean time I have no problem testing but just looking for a better way of water testing on the major elements. I've heard mixed reviews on Hanna checkers so thought I would ask peoples experience with them since I, like most refers test ALK daily. And would like to streamline this daily task. BRS highly recommend this product but in the end they are out to make money, and rightfully so. I've given them quite a bit of my money however, I don't like to buy blindly.

Hanna Alk and phosphorus are the best bang for you buck easy to use and are reliable. For calcium and magnesium I use salifert and nitrate is Red Sea.
But then again everyone has different opinions.
