Alk wont raise??

hey everyone. my system is reading very low Alkalinity. its at 6.0 now. i dose 2 part and have raised the dosage in the past 2 weeks. still no raise. (dosing twice as much. its a large system.... 300g Calcium is at 425. i have not checked Mag or PH

any thoughts? i am trying to get it to 9.0

You could be overdosing your tank and precipitating it out
