How quickly can one increase or decrease ALK on a daily/weekly level and be safe? Mostly lps corals with a few sps and soft corals in the tank. I am just curious more so than anything.

Thanks!

I know what to increase alk with, I'm just trying to find the safe amount. Say, it's safe to raise alk in the tank by .5dkhe a day but no more than 1.5dkh a week.

I.e. if I wanted to raise my alk from 8 to say 11, how long of a time period would I want to take doing it?

Depends from tank to tank. So theres not really a definitive answer. I wouldnt go past a .5 raise daily

Thanks all, seems like .5dkh is the most common thing i can find online. Personally i would do about 1dkh a week or so just to be on teh safe side of things.
