Hello,

Alkalinity is 14.7 and I have not dosed alkalinity. I can't get it 8-12. Is it alright for anemones, corals. fish?

That is way too high. Are you sure you are reading the test correctly? I'm not a salt expert, but I think reef crystals is the highest alk salt at 13.

I am just going to say that, based on this and your other posts. Please give yourself a month or two before getting any invertebrates. I know you were looking to add an anemone, but for you and the anemone, I think you need to get the basics down first.

Check out some BRS videos, some of Randy Holmes Farley Articles, and Jay Hemdals stuff. All of those will help you get a good start :)

As noted above, tap water plus salt mix is a big way that alk gets very high without dosing.
I did use tap water. I am in a apartment now, and didn’t want to use my rodi system. I have had baby guppies in that water for 12 weeks, I thought it would be alright. Can I use that water?

Look at this;

My apologies to the OP if I'm wrong, but I'm seeing a guy who has supposedly been in the hobby for 4 years minimum saying he is using guppy tap water and thinks it's ok.

Just seems improbable to me. But again, my apologies if I'm wrong.
