I am a long time lurker first time poster. My 65 gallon reef has been through a lot lately with a 5 month struggle with dinos. After tons of deligence and patience I am looking to be in the clear with snails surviving and no visual evidence of the disgusting creatures. My problem now is I can’t maintain ca and alk for the life of me. I made some big changes to dosing as the tank was coming back to life that included dosing kalk through ato, feeding the slimmer air line outdoors, and changing to brs 2 part from reef fusion. After changing to the brs I started at 100 ml a day and am up to 250mls a day with alk and ca still dropping!! I am testing with salifert test kits and my current coral load is very medium with a few fist sized lps corals, one 6 inch meteor shower and softies. I am not finding much precipitation on pumps and my sand has mostly been vacuumed out dealing with the dinos. Any ideas? My current alk is 6.6 just adjusted to 7.2 with baking soda and calcium at 340. Ph is much improved with the fresh air ranging from 8.1 - 8.25. I’m not getting much evaporation with my photo period being reduced to lower light leds. So confused! I feel like the ph increase has something to do with it as I ran a co2 buffer on the skimmer at one time and my consumption skyrocketed but this was years ago. Please help! Sorry for the long post

Also wanted to note my magnesium was just tested with a salifert test at 1260. Thank you for any replies!
