Alkalinity at 8.6 with Hanna checker

Hanna hands down. For me, digital readout is far better than trying to find the right light to decipher the color. I have no regrets goin to Hanna for most all my tests.
I just bought the Hanna alkalinity checker and love it. I'll buy the phosphate next payday

I just tested my unsalted rodi water. It also reads 0.25 with the API phosphate test ! what the heck !
Cause api test are not giving you a true number…until you get a better test kit you will not know exactly the number..api is giving you a very *** number…

as stated if you are stuck with api don’t sweat it too much..your tank and corals are going to tell you when it becomes a problem before that api test kit
