alkalinity, calcium, magnesium?

So I've had a tank for awhile and just recently got really serious about keep corals.. But I do not understand everything that really goes into it. I've been taking full parameters daily but I just don't really understand what all goes into it I guess. My ammonia is always 0, my nitrates go between 2-5ppm, my alkalinity is currently 10.7, calcium is 480, and magnesium is 1680. Are my corals even pulling things out of my tank?

This always helps me when confusion set in.

I have a bunch of zoas, I have a large platygyra, a large chalice, then I have about 15 frags that are all LPS and only 2 are acros
