Alkalinity consumption drop - Not sure what that means

Top off water is what?

Is nitrate declining or being dosed?

Top off is RODI water which I can test to make sure and Nitrate has been holding stable at about 10ppm for a few months. Nitrate has increased from 2ppm to 10ppm in the same timeline the Alk started increasing.

Thanks again for helping me understand what is happening here. I've never seen this before and been doing all this for a while now. This tank has now been running for exactly 1 year.

Any chance it is alk mismeasurement? How are you measuring it?

oh forgot the mention, I'm making a fresh batch of Saltwater and will be testing the Alk in it to make sure it's not the source of my high dkh. I'm using Tropic Marine Pro Salt

using HANA checker (blue) and the test is fine in my other tank. Just off in this particular tank.

update: I've tested my RODI top-off water (0 dkh), I've made a fresh batch Tropic Marin saltwater and tested it at 7.8dkh.
So now I'm really confused as what could be peaking my Alkalinity. My next step will be to do a 25% water change and I'll completely disconnect my Soda Ash dosing line just in case it was dripping into the sump.

Can you guys think of ANYTHING else I can do or check/test to find where that high alkalinity is coming from?
I was actually hoping it was going to be my salt mix, but it's not.

Any help or suggestions are welcome.

UPDATE: Standby guys, I may have found my issue but will confirm shortly. I feel really stupid right now, but I think I had mixed Soda Ash in my Calcium dosing container. I just combined my 2 Calcium dosing jugs into one and it precipitated immediately . I think I found my high Alkalinity issue and the mistake was too obvious to even think about. But I will confirm soon.
