Just got a 200 gallon bag of Red Sea blue bucket.Mixed it up according to their directions and the Alk was at 10.Thought it was to mix at 80.to 8.5.Anything Red Sea would do about it?

When I mix the same salt at 35ppt it typically mixes at around 9.6-9.9, so that sounds roughly correct. The alk they list on the bucket varies with the specific gravity.

I mixed it at 35ppt at 68 degrees as the directions told me to.I was hoping it would mix between 80. and 8.5.

Which bucket do you use? I've seen two versions out there. One bucket gives measurements for 35.5ppt where the alkalinity is 7.7 dKh, the other design gives measurements for 35ppt where the alkalinity is 8dKh
