Alkalinity problem?

i need the alk tester. mine is high and i cant seem to get it to come down! ive tried ph mag cal etc etc. any ideas?

What brand of salt are you using and what level does freshly mixed sw test at? What is your tank testing at?

I'm not even sure I follow. Your Alk is high? but you tried PH,Cal,Mg etc? HUH? If your Alk is high, you will usually have a PH problem as well as they work hand in hand, are you dosing anything in your tank? any new supplements? Frag plugs? how long has your tank been established?

I don't follow either but if you're dosing to increase ph then you are driving your alkalinity upwards.
