If it was me I wouldnt use this till you get a doser. it can be very touchy but if you want to try it what he said is true and start slow and easy.

I wouldn’t do Kalk in a Doser I’ve had troubles in the past lines getting cloked up I started a mild mix with my ATO I had mostly LPS zoas and mushrooms but switched over when the mix was getting close to max potency in my ATO. Tried the full dose on my apex DOS but was too much maintenance in just a few weeks of dosing, I think Kalk is a good way to start off the entire process of dosing and testing until you find a routine and get a feel of your tanks consumption feel comfortable with the whole process i I’ve recently reverted to a very mild mix in my ATO with my 2 parts, currently using ESV 2 parts.

So my ph swings from 7.65 to 7.96 according to my apex....just got done testing oh with api and my reading was 8 or 9. 8 drops was kind of yellow/blue and 9 was all the way blue so it appears as though I’m in range but still on the low side...I think I’m going to hike my salinity to 1.26 from 1.25 is there a chance this brings up my ph an alk a smidge?

Did you calibrate the PH probe ? If if was used I would advice to calibrate it

It is used but ph probe was just calibrated.

yeah you can do it in the ATO but I use to use it in my doser back when I used it. dont any more though. You just have to water it down a lot but i never had issues with it in a doser for me.

I was doing the max dosage since my tank was consuming a lot, but for the OP this is just another option which definitely will give you a nice PH boost and at the same time dosing Ca + Kh just another option easy to use
