Hey Reefers!

Just sent out an Oceamo ICP MS a week ago…Currently waiting on results. Currently undergoing flucanozole treatment for bryopsis….Ive had a few spa frags die and certain corals such as zoanthids and star polyps are closed. I’ve got 9 more days of treatment….I’ve been measuring alkalinity weekly. I’ve noticed alkalinity would rise .1 to .3 weekly. It went up to almost .5 this week….

I realize this is the drawback to the treatment but does anyone know how long corals can live with this continued lack of alkalinity consumption?..

TIA

No clear answer to your question. It sounds like the flucanozole treatment is killing your corals. Is it worth it?
