Hi everyone, I was wondering if adding a new LED light could cause a spike in Alk. My tank has been spot on 8.0-8.2 for 6 months. For Christmas my wife got me the Radio XR15 pro, switched from temporary older Reefbreeders photon 24. I test Alk quite often on Dec 20th I was at 8.2. Put the new light on December 25 and on the 27th I was at 8.9 and today 9.3. I am running the Coral Lab AB+ schedule at 31%. Just wondering if this could be the issue. I have not changed anything in the tank other then the light.

Thanks

It probably is, but I was not sure how powerful the Radions are. My older LED I had set at 85%blue and 25% white. Radions are at 31% total right now. Wish I had a par meter. Thanks for the response Randy.
