Alkalinity test differences

I tested my water with the Red Sea marine care program kh kit. I did it twice and got 11. I tested with my Hanna checker with the new reagent that was sent to me by Hanna and got 8.68. I also did this one twice and got just about the same both times. I have been using the Hanna exclusively and it always is around 8.5. Both kits have a expiration date in 2017. What gives?

I have been seeing this reagent issue starting to come around again.
