Alkalinity Test Showdown!

That is what I was thinking lol. Maybe it is a grammar check
Hmmm. Love Dana's articles but based on previous ones, grammar is not a high priority... :p. YOu sholud cee whut I writwithout mi readink glusses on. My old eyes, not my friend.

Sorry might be a dumb question but is the hach method used on icp or n-doc testing from triton?
Hach is different than both ICP and n-Doc testing. I think he is talking specifically about Hach alkalinity tests - rather than 'the hach method' in general. Hach is a company that uses many methods to test various chemicals/etc in water. In other words - Hach - is the same using the word 'triton' - its just a company.

This is the 23;rd post in this issue - and we haven´t seen the article yet. It must be a record. Why not publish it as a post in this thread and publish it as an article when things works as they should.

Sincerely Lasse

Probably one of the best ways to fix this is to PM a mod - I just did that:)

Just got a notification that 'the article is reviewed' - but as of yeti cant see it:)

For the icp testing alkalinity I do not know how triton does theirs. But ati’s alkalinity is measured using lab grade titration equipment. Triton maybe similar.

Alkalinity is 'hydrogen, carbon and oxygen' and other (boron, etc etc) = there is no way to measure alkalinity with an ICP test - which divides all elements into their single components. Na, K, C, O, etc etc. @Gareth elliott is correct - they just use a regular lab grade alkalinity test
