A few questions: what size tank? Do you dose anything? How high is your alkalinity?
Normally muriatic acid is the way to go and I’m sure there’s a calculator somewhere to do it the right way (slowly). Alternatively you can perform frequent water changes with a low alkalinity salt mix like tropic Marin pro reef salt.
