Alkatronic App?

Just ordered the alkatronic and trying to be proactive with getting other things ready like a PM1, BNC cable and downloading the app to my android phone.

I see that there are 3 to choose from, Alkatronic, Alkatronic Lite and Alkatronic OTA.

Seems that the Alkatronic is just for the testing unit, the Lite is for both the tester and dosatronic. But not sure what the OTA is.

I'm only getting the Alkatronic unit and want to know what the difference between Alkatronic and Alkatronic OTA?

Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

OTA I think is over the air firmware updates? I haven't used it. When I had a android phone I used Lite, now that I have an iPhone I use the full app.

I strongly advise using an iOS device to setup the Alkatronic when you get it, my S7 didn't like the Bluetooth and it was a pain until I gave up and used the better half's iPad. Was a snap after that.

Thanks for the advise, i guess there's a silver lining when my kids demanded iPhones, if setup becomes a hassle then I will go that route.
