Hi All,

Selling my Alkatronic/Dosetronic that are in brand new condition with original boxes. I purchased from Premium Aquatics and the Alkatronic is a version 2 with quiet kit. They were both kept underneath my Max nano in a dry environment and haven’t seen a drop of water and always maintained extremely well. New hoses and Ph probe installed in January. I contribute my Sps success and growth to the Alkatronic/Dosetronic combo.

How was the noise level on the dosetronic? Was it as loud as the first pumps that come on during the test cycle of the alkatronic or the quieter set of pumps on that device?

Dosetronic was extremely quiet. I barely heard it when dosing. The Alkatronic IMO was not bad as well. The loudest part of the Alkatronic was when it drained the beaker glass. The noise didn’t bot(erv me at all since it was under my cabinet.

Thanks! I love my alkatronic but its extremely loud in the beginning and the end of the test (filling and emptying). Not bad 2-3 times a day but continuous dosing would be a problem for me. I cant find any review videos on doestronic to know what to expect. It certainly looks like the louder alkatronic pumps...

No problem, I think continuous dosing won’t be an issue with the Dosetronic. My pumps couldn’t be heard with my cabinet closed and with door open they were slightly audible. Otoh, Neptune dose was loud.
