Alkatronic waste lower ph?

I think I may have found culprit. I did not noticed my ph changing when I did not return waste back to tank from Alkatronic. I checked my expiration on my 5 gallon container of soda lime I use for co2 scrubber and it expired two weeks ago. I changed the media and barely noticed a oh rise.
