alkatronics getting disconnected from internet

i have been using the all in one app and not connecting the unit via Bluetooth but everyday I have been getting notice that it have been disconnected from the internet

any advice on how to get this fix ?

Does it also happen with the stand alone AT app?

I had this issue with my Alkatronic and Dosetronic after updating the firmware. The Dosetronic would not reconnect with out rebooting. Had an email going with Eric for a few weeks and finally got mine fixed. I still occasionally get disconnects but it reconnects in <5 minutes.

Are you using a mesh network? I have a wired AP attached to an Orbi. What fixed my issue was to disable the “Enable Fast Roaming”

i am using asus ai mesh and for the 2.4 ghz channel I have not enable the roaming assistant but still it is still getting disconnected from internet by itself

yes it is still connected on the network but it is not reporting back to the cloud

What firmware is your Alkatronic on? Is your router firmware up to date as well?

I'd be interested as well, I've never ever lost connection once but I'm curious to compare firmware versions

What's the firmware version reported on your app?
I just updated mine in July and on boot its 5.2.4. The app says v03.03.03 on the Alkatronic.

OK I think you need to get the Alkatronic to 5.2.4.
Patch Notes:
With this Generation II firmware update, you will see the following improvements but not limited to these:
1. Much more silent running concerning the steeper pumps (A and C)
2. pH-reading and store, for each test performed by Alkatronic.
3. First tests after reboot will be shown as purple dot, and also shown in LCD as ”1-st Test”.
4. Improved information in LCD display
5. Shorter test duration
6. No need of reboot after setting wifi info
7. Minute time tag for the measured value will be exact when the tested water is taken.
8. Possible to change Forced Test Interval (1-3h).
9. Alkatronic offline notification (if offline for over 30 min).
10. If more than 4 retests in same cycle, Alkatronic shut down and give you a info-Code
11. Number of retests within a cycle is shown in LCD
12. Wider allowed calibration ranges, and also increased ranges for ”low ref val”.
13 . Cal alerts increased to 8 weeks, and possible to snooze

@MGarrison i think i might know where is the problem as i am using apple watch non -4G version and i left bluetooth on . the iphone always attempt to connect using the bluetooth the connect on the alkatronics

yes. what i notice is that bluetooth from the iphone will still attempt to connect to the alkatronics even without the app
