Today at a LFS I found a little zoa that was jet black and had a bright green mouth why I didn't get a photo I don't know. Has anyone encountered this type before? It was the only one and it was already sold. Certainly will keep an eye out for more of that type looked amazing. I picked out a couple new little ones too just dipped and waiting on them opening.

Looked like these i guess but dark feely things at the edge. Whats the name for the bits at the edge on a zoa I kinda want to call it a skirt lol

Agree on people eater

Does anyone else find themselves just watching new frags waiting to see them open in your tank. I lost a good 6 hrs yesterday and these are taking there time. The 3rd one isn't a zoa but it looked cool in the FS only gripe I have with the storr is they don't label anything.

Don't worry. It took a nice frag of gorilla nipples 3 weeks to open for me. Zoas do like to take their sweet time don't they lol.

I'm kinda scared for the 3rd one not sure what it is but after dipping it looks like its gone into hibernation :D not seen any movement but if somethings can take that long I guess il check back tomorrow

I wouldnt worry to much unless you start to see them melt, or notice a pest attacking or bugging them. Sometimes stuff can build up on zoas and that usually angers them. Try to blow them off and see if any detritis comes off.

Well they are opening up the ones in the front definitely opened up fully the ones either side have a little way to go but are looking great
