Im using all for reef powder with rodi. I usually mix 4 liters worth. I was refilling the container up and noticed it was more of a yellow color liquid , rather than the blue green of freshly mixed, and I saw some bacterial flocks, jelly looking things in the remaining 500ml.

I expected this but are there any implications of the bacteria perhaps consuming the elements im putting in? Is making 4 l too much at one time, maybe im wasting product because if the bacteria?

TM has mentioned that it can come out as slightly different colors (which is due to the speciation of trace metals in it).

I would not be sure the solids are bacteria, but it might be.
I'd just use it. Then rinse the container completely before the next refill.

I just dump those remaining biofilms into the aquarium. Free food and probably highly bioavailable elements.

My biofilm is brown, btw.
