I have been using All For Reef for over 1 year. Really like the convenience. I set up a 3-4 month solution at a time and dose with a kamoer pump. Today when emptying out the remaining AFR solution i noticed it had a strong sulfur smell (Anaerobic). I was wondering if there is a recommended maximum number of days of AFR solution, i.e. no more than 60 day supply at a time. etc… Thanks for your help

Check your RODI.

I cleaned mine out today. Both tank had stuff growing in the supply containers. White gooey stuff. Last time I made it was about a month ago. Clean containers with RODI water to mix. Going to see how it goes this month but may switch to prepared stuff if it happens again.

When you said cleaned out, what exactly did you clean? The solution storage container?

If so take a photo or two for later reference. This is what I started doing recently after I started to mix larger batches of AFR. I also get a piece of tape and write the date and time. Helps me track how long the mixture lasts compared to what "I" think :) Photo is for reference in case I see anything that may have changed during the use and storage.
