I’m currently at a 44ml/day dose in my 100g system. This dose is done all at once just after the lights come on. Would I experience any swings if I were to start splitting this dose up to say, 4-6 times a day?

No, it should be the same, things should just be more consistent. That 44ml at once is essentially causing a swing, where as 11ml every 6 hours would be closer to maintaining your baseline

I've been dosing 6 times through out the day since I started ARF several months ago. I would think a single dose would be more likely to cause a swing than multiple doses.
Throughout the day as in a 24 hour period?

I dose 10 ml 4 times a day with my bubble magnus. Alk will be rock solid

I'm only at 25ml daily at this time. I dose 6 times every 2 hours starting at 10a ending at 10p. I've read that coral consume more alk durring the lighting period.
Got ya! Looks like tomorrow I’ll start a dosing schedule of every 2 hours between 10 and 10 (which is also my lighting schedule). Thanks!

I dose 90 ml/day starting at 0900 and end at 2000. Basically the Apex DOS unit will take that 90 ml and spread it out over the timeline I gave it. Graph below for reference. Green is AFR yellow is ESV transition element (small single dose of 11 ml).

In short - I start dosing 2 hours after lights on and continue throughout the day. I've not done it any other way so can't really say how it compares to shorter periods. However this works for me.

@Lou Ekus may have more insight as to their recommendation(s) or if it matters.

FWIW, the need to split up AFR dosing is much less than other products since not all the alk shows up immediately.

I’d only dose it from early am to early afternoon.
