I have been using all for reef a while now and absolutely love it. I just have it on a single channel dozer and it is extremely reliable. The trick is to get your alkalinity calcium and magnesium where you want it before you start dosing AFR because it will almost perfectly maintain those levels. I only have to make small adjustments to my alkalinity once every week and a half or more. I don’t use the Polyp lab stuff but I do dose redsea AB+ every day and have seen an amazing color change in my Acros in the last two months
It will raise all 3 at the same time keep in mind. I was on 2 part for a long time before AFR. I pretty much dialed in my Alk cal and mag and started dosing (13 ml) in my case. I tested a few days after ( AFR used a bacterial reaction to raise Alk and will take a day or so to show correctly on a test kit) till my Alk got level and kept my dose dialed in. Over a week or so my Alk will go from 9.0 to 8.6 and I dose the Alk part of the two part I have left over to bring it back to 9.0. My cal and mag are rock solid at a 13 ml daily dose and it’s normal for a parameter to deplete a little faster than others on AFR they say in the video and doing a very small Alk dose every week and half is totally fine with me.Im a totally newbie when it comes to dosing, Could i potentials dose more afr to achieve desired levels for instance my alk is 7.5 and I want it at 8 so i dose extra till i get it there or no
