All Green Walt Disney Acro

Well I purchased 2 WD's. One was so small I could barely see it, but under actinic I could see some promising colors. The other was green. The one with promising colors is now growing and is going to be a nice WD. The green one however is still green. It doesn't even look like a tenius now that is growing. This is my first hand experience FWIW.

Ok this is the one that had the right color and is growing into a nice piece.

Yeah I think so. It was an expensive one. ;Blackeye

I've only seen it start to pick up blue on the tips one time, but then it went away. This pic is from 10/10/17. Not sure how it got it or a way to reproduce it. :(

That's what mine looks like purple and green I have mine high up in the tank. I'm running xr15 gen5 blue with reef brites that's about 8in from water

Here are mines. I did not get better color and growth till I put them to upper half of tank. Also I dose Red Sea AB every other day. Alk stable at 9.

Here is my WD I had t5 lights and rarely saw any color but a greenish yellow. I recently switched to LEDs and now I'm starting to see some other color coming in. I will post a pic of colony and a pic of what was a very tiny piece I cut off of a frag to make it straight at the base to glue down. I thought why not glue the piece that was smaller than a tic tac mint down and see what happens. So if anyone can explain this please do. The colony has always been towards the top and the little chip has been on sandbed. I recently moved from the sand to midway up my rock but the colors are from when it was on the sand. I know the pics are not the greatest

13months apart. Not a fast grower for me. Also have a few others bought as WD that look different to me. Was told this was purchased directly from TSA.

I was told this was the Big R version. Definitely seems more nubby and has more purple as well as gold versus yellow in it. IMO.

I have noticed more vibrant pinks with dosing lugols iodine. My ICPs used to always come back super low on iodine. One drop every few days and I biweekly test with red sea kit. I get greener corals if I dose chaeto grow.. probably due to high iron

I got mine from Boom Corals and it came to me all green. About a year later it's a green/yellow color. Slow grower but tuff as nails-it's been through a lot. It's always been up high(right now about 400 par) in high flow.
Now ask me about Sexy Corals Orange Passion-super fast grower, great colors from day one and tuff as nails. This should be in everyone's tank.
