All in one aquariums

Hey, what's up guys? So, I've been out of the hobby for a few years now and recently have decide to get back in. I bought an aquatop 40 gallon all in one tank. I've never had any experience with the all in one aquariums. Before, I had a 90g with a refugium. So, how do you guys that have one have your filtration set up? Like, do you guys use the media baskets? If so, what kind of media? Is there certain equipment that works better with these? TIA

Media baskets are typically used, InTank makes aftermarket media baskets which are nice.
Filtration options are typically filter floss first and Chemipure and/or Purigen for chemical filtration.
Some turn their chambers into mini refugiums, if you want to go that way
