All in One Divider: 1/8 acrylic OK?

For a 90 gal tank, if I were to make it into an all in one, could I use 1/8 acrylic for my main sheet? The tank is about 24" deep and 18" wide. I'd have a main divider with 1/4 bracing. If this wouldn't work, could I add some bracing to the 1/8 main sheet?

I ask because I currently have a 12"x24" sheet or 1/4" and a 24" x 24" sheet of 1/8", and some random 1/4" strips. I'd rather not have to buy more 1/4" stock, but will if that's what I really should do.

I really just want to have a protein skimmer behind it, so the water would probably be about 7" deep.

You'd have 17" of water pushing on that sheet of acrylic. 1/8" is pretty thin. I wouldn't trust it, personally. The odds are the acrylic will be fine, but it will flex and pull out whatever method you made to hold the acrylic in place.
