hi everyone

I went back to using All-in-one NP biopellets, the product with the inbuilt GFO and noticed my skimmate is now very orange, anyone else experienced this with this product? When I used it before the pellets were a different receipt and were dark brown, the newer ones are more yellow/orange and I'm now getting crazy skimmate. Wondering if it's pellets or the fact I removed the disgusting sandbed from the sump!

My filter socks are clogging with the orangey stuff too, the tanks never looked clearer, but it's just so strange.

yeah, I been using biopellets for two years never had the skimmate this color. Just seems unusual.

I had this exact same issue. I ditched them and went to EcoBak plus. Skimmate is back to normal.

Yeah, think I am going to ditch them if it don't improve. Can't be right, surely. Its like the GFO is being released. I have a overflow into a little hang on refugium and it's even creating a orange dust in the low flow area. It's the colour of GFO so it's got to be it?
