In my Nanocube 28, I have the stock media basket with filter floss, carbon, and purigen. I'm running a Warner Marine H1 skimmer and couldn't be happier.
On my Biocube 29, I'm running an inTank media basket w/ filter floss, then carbon, then chaeto. A tunze 9002 nanoskimmer next to it. The WMH1 skimmer is much much better than the tunze though.

Chamber2: inTank media basket with filter floss, chaeto (w/light), and chemipure elite
Chamber3: Upgraded return pump (mj900)

heater chamber 1, stock media basket in chamber 2, and skimmer in 3. Chaato is in 2 spounge baskets inside the tank.
12g CADLights. (2) heaters, thermometer and a pump...that's it.
