How much of a pain in the *** is it to host a all in one tanks. I have been doing my homework on them but I am curious if any one here has attempted or doing. I have about 3 years experience with just a all fish and rock reef with a couple amines and crustaceans. Looking to get some color if it won't cost me my whole tank.

I think all in one's are great until you want to add, change or modify equipment. Someone experienced as yourself might want to set up a sump the way you want it.
And hello and welcome!

I say it’s all about your maintenance with your tanks . I’m a big fan of building my own aio tanks then you can build it to fit what ever you want in it

Welcome! I like my AIO.. but as said above wish I could change more :D . Otherwise it’s great haha

The tank I have has only been set up for about 8 months. Of course I had live rock and about half the water for it on day one. As for the sand. Only lost a couple of my crustaceans as for the sump I have thought about diy. Are should I not.

Nit many are large but they’re very easy to manage and also forgiving when problems arise
