Again i'm diligent on those things but you never know what I might have done inadvertently, I really can't think of anything I might have done, but obviously something has caused it.

Just putting them down on paper and letting the collective experience of all these reefers maybe can find something we're missing? Would love to help you figure this out. Heartbreaking.

No coral deaths but looking dismal and no polyp extension. Its a reefer 425xl

What did it cause water damage to the ceiling above the tank and start flaking drywall into the tank or something?

The room below the second floor bath is the fish room and a utility room. The ceiling is just the wood rafters and plumbing from second floor.

I had this happen to me once and it was devestating. I had a get together and someone accidently spilled some liquor in the tank. I'm guessing the spill caused a massive bacterial explosion which depleted the oxygen because as a result, all my fish died by the next morning. Took about a year for the person to admit their mistake- they thought it would just dilute out and didn't want to ruin my party worrying me...

All I can say is there is no worse feeling then having to deal with the dead bodies of your fish friends and not knowing what happened :/
